TAMARA REID

You're not being overlooked because you're not good enough.

You're being overlooked because nobody knows what you're for. I've spent close to twenty years on the brand side of this industry, sitting in the rooms where the stages, the partnerships, and the contracts get handed out. I know exactly how those decisions get made, and I'm not precious about telling you.

I know what you're actually thinking, because you've told me.

You've watched someone with half your experience get announced as a keynote and wondered who they know. You've listened to a podcast in this industry with sponsors on it and thought, hang on, I know more about this than she does. You've watched the loudest person in the room get the ambassadorship, the education contract, the panel seat, and you've felt something ugly and honest go through you, and then you've felt bad about feeling it.

Don't. It's a fair thing to feel. You have spent years getting truly good at this, steadily and expensively, while people with a fraction of your depth built an audience and turned it into money. That is not in your head and I'm not going to pretend otherwise.

But here's the part I love you enough to say. They didn't beat you on talent, and they didn't beat you on ethics either. They beat you on being findable, on being clear about what they stand for, and on being willing to say it before they felt ready. Every one of those is a decision rather than a gift, which means the gap between you and the stage is a series of things you haven't done yet rather than something you don't have.

The value is already there. You've got more of it than most of them, and that's exactly what makes this so infuriating. What's missing is that nobody outside your treatment room knows it, and I can help you fix that.

THE FRAMEWORK

In this industry, the A-list isn't the most talented. It's the most known.

There are five reasons a brilliant person stays invisible, and they stack. You can't be remembered until people know you exist, you can't be known for something until they can describe you, and you can't charge properly for any of it until the right people are watching.

Most personal branding advice treats these as one problem. They aren't, and working on the wrong one is why a year goes by and nothing changes.

Awareness

Do they know you exist?

Attention

Do you come to mind?

Association

Do they know what you're for?

Audience

Are the right people watching?

Ask

Does any of it turn into money?

TSP_TamaraReid (1).jpg

You don't need to fix all five.

You need to find the first one that isn't working,

and start there.

WHY WORK WITH TAMARA REID?

Tried, tested and insightful

Most personal branding advice in this industry is one person's story, told back to you as if it's a method.

Mine comes from experience, yes but also, the research I actually ran, including a survey of more than 350 salon and clinic owners and quarterly reporting across a $12.4 billion market.

What the data says

(and you're not going to love it.)

The market is holding steady while the number of businesses competing inside it grows about three times faster, so the room is filling up quicker than the money is. Being excellent at your craft is now the price of entry rather than the thing that sets you apart.

What I've seen

The people getting picked by brands aren't better than you. They're clearer than you. They can say what they're known for in one sentence, and you probably can't yet, and that is a fixable problem rather than a personality flaw.

One day, in a room, with a small group and me. You come in with a vague feeling about what you want to be known for, and you leave with it written down, priced, and in your calendar. No homework you'll never do. This is for you if you've bought the courses, saved the posts, and still haven't finished the thing.

Private & Executive

"Do it with me, and keep it between us."

By application

For founders, directors, and senior leaders who need a profile that carries commercial weight and can't workshop it in public. Six months, one to one, completely confidential. We build the positioning, the point of view, the speaking and media pathway, and the assets underneath it, and I stay close enough to hold you to it when you stop believing your own positioning. A small number of seats each year, by application, because it only works if I'm properly in it with you.

COMING SOON

Not sure which one is for you?
Start with an hour.

Sixty minutes, one to one, where you bring the half-formed idea, the notes app, and the thing you've been circling for months, and I help you make sense of it. You'll leave with an 11-page strategic direction guide built around you, including your positioning, your audience, and what to actually do in the next 30 and 90 days.

It's the fastest way to work out whether you need the course, the Intensive, or something else entirely. I only take a handful each month.

Or Start Smaller

There's no rush!

Short masterclasses and guides, each one built to fix a single thing in under an hour. Pick whichever one matches what's currently in your way, and come back for the rest when you're ready.

Want Tamara On Your Stage?

Tamara keynotes on what salon and clinic owners actually want (from her research, not recycled global statistics), on building a personal brand inside a professional industry, and on the growth plans that turn educators and BDMs into revenue. Your audience will leave with something they can use on Monday, and I wont read you a slide.
